Platypus monitoring training sessions
Tuesday 17 September, 2019-Sunday 22 September 2019
Platypus experts from the Australian Platypus Conservancy will be providing guided platypus spotting and help to train interested people on how to monitor their local platypus populations on the following days:
- King Parrot Creek: Moore’s Road Reserve, Moore’s Rd Flowerdale – 5.30pm Tuesday September 17
- Seymour : Walking track near Old Goulburn Bridge – 7am Wednesday September 18
- Yea: Y Water Centre - 5.30pm Wednesday September 18 OR 7am Thursday September 19
- Thornton/Eildon: Walnut River Reserve, 718 Goulburn Valley Hwy - 5.30pm Thursday September 19
- Alexandra: Maroondah Highway Bridge – 7am Friday September 20
- Mansfield: Buckland Centre, Erril St Mansfield - (talk) 7pm Friday September 20; field session: Mansfield Botanic Gardens Whitfield Rd Bridge - 7am Saturday September 21
- Euroa: Seven Creeks Hotel – (talk) 4pm Saturday September 21 – field session 5.30pm
- Benalla: Lake Benalla BBQ area (near library) - 7am Sunday September 22
